would you mind doing it again and making it audible? probably really intersting!
Great information and examples of ceramics.
Stone flatware predates by millennium
It occurred to me if I want to really figure things out I would discover the evolution of vessels. SF/
Wonderful work!
Sacha cahea 250 ml handi Rs
Very informative. One learns something new everyday...
This could be great but could have been edited to make it tighter. Also, you have the name of the artist for the fur tea cup incorrect. It is Meret Oppenheim, Not Oppenheimer.
“Fertility Cults?” 😂😂😂 So people (and chimps) eat clay. Actually pregnant people who are seeking extra nutrients often eat clay, although it is advised against by modern doctors. This can also be observed in non pregnant people and is labeled a mental health disorder called PICA, cause people to crave chalk or clay or other things, sometimes due to nutritional deficiencies. I wonder if at some point they tried to cook the clay for consumption.
this guy has the most annoying way of talking ,, and wish they would all quit calling the inner chamber a burial chamber ,,, it never was or will be ,, no coffin ,, no writing ,, no burial relics ,, if it quacks like a duck ,, and walks like a duck ,, it is one ,,,
I was hoping to see the plate “The House at China Cove”!
This is a fascinating lecture thank you!
Soy de Bolivia por favor si puedes mandar un vídeo de cómo hacer molde de olla
I really appreciate these videos. I have been taking pottery wheel classes and have found pottery history so interesting.
So funny, as I would roam around the house aimlessly, my wife would ask what I was doing and I'd tell her I was wandering Indiana.
Watching it right now Turny! chuckle. How cool! Thanks for posting. Shared with Robert Brady and Georgia Strange.
Well I'll be jiggered! This was just what I was hoping to find. Thank you for uploading it!
Quá tuyệt vời
Curious as to why the last 2 segments are hidden.
Hi! Thanks a lot for the lectures, I will be super grateful if you make public the last two videos from those series! Also, if you could recommend some materials for the ceramic history of the 20th century, it would be awesome
is the nothern clay center real place?
Loved this! Where can I get a softcopy of the book Ten Thousand Years. Thanks in advance
Beautiful work, great insight, but not a lot there to do with clay. 80% of what she presented could have been made of anything; wood, plaster, plastic, concrete, metal. Didn't mention what kind of clay she likes to use, glazes, building techniques, firing preferences.... As I said, her work is beautiful, but the lecture comes up a bit short when it comes to ceramics.
Waw your a real talent Patric, and funny too.
What was the soapy material you were washing the positive with just prior to casting the negative mould?
A mold release agent - like Murphy’s oil soap mixed with water. So the plaster doesn’t stick to the plaster form.
Nice work!! You should check Promosm!! ! You could use it to help grow your subscribers!!
Clarice has become a master of squashware.
Ok are see ceramic porcelain europe thankful 🙏👋 ok. Thank ❤.
I love this. Thank you for posting it. I wish it didn't cut off at the end.
how they do that
Ditto about updating the playlist to include the rest of the lectures.
It would be nice to know how the Chinese built their kilns. They didn't have fire brick, so what did they use?
I have to point out that her statement that Herodotus wrote the book of Daniel in the Old Testament is questionable.
3:51 what was that, a brubeck band cringe moment ? haha!!
Thank you for the lectures, and greetings from Spain. Is there a way to access lectures nr 9 and 10? I've found the rest of them very interesting.
This is fantastic!
amazing
👏👏👏
Hi, this clay - cone 5 b-mix is with grog?
Give me your contact information ?
What a lovely produced video. Could anyone tell me who produced this piece? If so, could you email me at wendy@brownink.com ? Cheers.
I just wish I could hear the potters conversation much better. Ron Myers to me is the most important potter in the U.S. His skill level and artistic ability always fit his pots perfectly. I am an admirer of his works .
thanks for posting NCC.!.!.
Thank you for sharing, there were some very interesting ideas were shown. A few close up pics of the pieces that were worked on, put at the end of the video, would have been a help. Many thanks. June
hochhalter FTW!
Sorry, low volume during panel discussion.
Correct, it is from 2002. We've updated the time stamp for the video.
NCC, Thanks soooo much for putting this up. It's invaluable!!
This is from the 4th APF in 2002.
